Air Plant Care

Super interesting to look at and easy to grow!

Air plants require bright, indirect light which can be sunlight or consistent indoor light. When growing in nature they are epiphytes which means they grow on the sides of other plants and are shaded by the foliage of that plant.

For best growing results mist your air plants 2 - 3 times a week with a hand mister and tap water. Air plants do require moisture to grow, but soaking them in water can cause root rot. If you decide to dip your air plants make sure they dry completely.

Good air circulation is important for your air plants. Do not expose plants to temperatures cooler than 50ºF or 16ºC.

No soil is needed! It's as simple as that. The average lifespan of an air plant is 2-5 years.
